Besides a tailor made safari , we are quite flexible and offer our our clients an opportunity and a right to adjust their itineraries  in a manner that best suit their interests and budgets. Before booking a safari, we strongly advice our visitors to ensure that they have valid insurance cover from a duly recognized company. We are based in Maasai Mara, but we organize safaris across Kenya based on clients request. The following safaris are available

Game Drive Safaris
Here visitors get an opportunity to visit one of the world famous Maasai Mara Game Reserve which had been declared the 7th world wonder due to the world unexplained nature of the wildebeest migration, that see millions of wild beast cross to Maasai Mara from the Serengeti annually!!

This normally happens between mid July and late August each calendar year. Nature has its slight variations thou! What  you need? A car, and park fee.  Current rates for Park fee is $80 @ person @day, if you don’t have a private car then, there are vehicle for hire. Land cruisers goes for $200@car for a full day(7:30am-600pm) during normal seasons. During peak season Jul end of Aug. these vehicles could be available at a cost of $250@van for a full day game drive. Land cruisers are recommended because of the rough terrain in the Mara.

Nature Walk Safaris
We organize nature walk safaris base on clients requests. Here, you get a perfect opportunity to interact with nature by walking with the local English speaking Maasai morans. These young morans with a perfect understanding of the area’s plants, wildlife and culture will lead you in the walk, where you have a variety of options eg climbing the Naunerri hill, herding the cows/sheep and goats and experience their real way of life, learning the making and practice weaponry like throwing spears, bows and arrows, club throwing etc.

This also provides you with an opportunity to have a panoramic view of the entire mara and its beautiful sceneries besides the very high probability of spotting the small animals like the dik dik, the antelopes, hare,  birds of the mara and big animals like the elephants, zebras and buffaloes which are normally watched at a safe distance.

Other than guiding you throughout your walk, the maasai morans will explain everything about plants, wild animals, birds, sceneries, herding, weaponry and culture in the context of their cultural point of view and understanding. They will also answer all your questions  about any aspects of their environment.
What you need? Only $20@person once. This money goes to support  the maasai cultural and conservation centre as well as support the community pre- school.

Balloon Safaris
It is always spectacular to have a view of the  mara mid air!  Besides the opportunity to see the wild life over the air, this is a perfect opportunity to a have a perfect scenic view of the Maasai Mara in a life time!
What you need? $500 @ person @flight. Breakfast is provided after the flight as well as a certificate.

Maasai Village Safaris/Stay
Any visit to the Maasai Mara is never complete  without a visit to the Maasai village! This is the only opportunity to perfectly interact with the local maasai tribe of Kenya. An internationally very famous tribe, that is well known for its unique and rich culture that has mysteriously, withstood the test of time! It still baffle many, how the did they managed to keep their beautiful culture intact for decades in the expense of modernization!

In your visit of the maasai village, a thrilling and the most authentic experience of a life time is almost guaranteed! Here, the always cultured, original and highly hospitable maasai people will welcome you in their manyatta/village. Here, they will entertain you with their cultural dances including their trade mark high jumping dance, one in the entire world can jump swiftly and graciously dance mid air but the maasai themselves!

The maasai are hospitable people, who never limits your stay with them. They neither limits what they share,..they will share everything from their dances, culture as well as their way of life. If you want to stay for an over night in the village it is possible. If you want to stay for several days, it is still possible!
What you need? $20 per person per unlimited visit. This fees goes to support the Maasai cultural Tourism and conservation centre as well as bringing direct benefits to the maasai themselves!

Sample Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival
On arrival at the Siana Spring Airstrip you will be picked up and driven to the camp where you can relax and eat lunch. Later in the evening enjoy a game drive before returning to the campsite for dinner.

Day 2 – Maasai Mara Game Reserve
After breakfast leave the camp for a full day with packed lunch. Game viewing and an exploration of Kenya’s finest nature reserve. More than 60 species of wildlife including all the BIG FIVE are found here as well as a multitude of birds.  Have lunch at the Mara Triangle inside the game park. In the evening return to the camp for dinner and camp fire.

Day 3 – Tour to Manyatta Village & Hill Climb
Have an early breakfast and then take a walk to Neunerri Hill with panoramic views over the majestic Masai Mara Game Reserve. In the afternoon, enjoy a tour around the village Maasai traditional dancing, the ladies bead-work, crafts and meet local Maasai people. In the evening eat dinner and overnight at the campsite. Relax at the campfire after dinner and enjoy a  lecture on Maasai cultural ways of life, activities and practices. You will meet with Maasai Warriors.

Day 4 – Community Visit
After breakfast have a full day learning about the community projects. This includes visiting some of SEMADEP projects: Health Centre, Water Project, ICT Centre, OVC / sponsorship  project and meeting with community members. Eat lunch at the camp and then enjoy an afternoon relaxing until dinner is served.

Day 5 – Maasai Mara Game Reserve
After breakfast a full day is spent game viewing across the rich grassland and rolling hills. The famous Mara is renowned for it’s great herds of game, black maned lion, leopard and cheetah. You will be amazed at the diversity of wildlife you will see in this magical reserve. In the early evening return to the camp for dinner.

Day 6 – Community Visit
Visit another local village in the morning to experience the day to day life of the  locals. You can take part in milking cows, lighting fires, repairing houses and also the preparations needed for cow herding. Afterwards see how food is prepared, this can include the slaughter of a goat and the traditional cooking of the meat with local herbs. In the afternoon relax at the camp or choose your another activity such as a game drive or nature walk. In the evening eat dinner and relax around the camp fire,

Day 7 – Departure
After breakfast enjoy your final game drive before departing to Nairobi.
